The Run Around Project
We will be traveling in a 30foot travel trailer that sleeps 6 as well as two trucks capable of hauling six snowmobiles. We plan on meeting up with other athletes in different locations, throughout the lower 48, British Columbia, and Alaska and have a full time cinematographer and still photographer along with us capturing all the adventures. We plan on doing something that is very unique. Of course the core of the mission will be to film professional athletes skiing and competing in some of the most impressive natural locations in the world. But also we want to share the entire experience of being on the road and all the elements in which that lifestyle entails. Whether it’s dealing with travel logistics, group dynamics, or the biggest factor of them all; Mother Nature, the cameras will be rolling. The goal is to allow the audience to see what happens on and off the hill. We want the viewer to feel like they are coming along with us in our travels through the highs and the low’s. In our many collective years in this sport one thing we have noticed common to all those who are truly passionate about skiing appreciate it for all of its many aspects. While we all love and strive for those perfect days of untouched pow and incredible terrain. We come to realize that the time spent in between those moments of perfection when the environment demands you to hike a little higher, wait a little longer, travel a little farther, are what truly defines the life of a true backcountry skier. Sometimes the journey can become more meaningful than the destination.
